Jefferson County is serious about illegal dumping. If you see it, report it.

For unincorporated Jefferson County we have a 24 hour hotline to report illegal dumping on the Right-of-Way (approx 15' from either edge of paving). The number is (205) 582-6555. When reporting, please describe the location mentioning any addresses and/or intersecting roads nearby in order for us to locate the area containing the trash. You are not required to give your name and number, but if you choose, your information will be kept confidential.
